1. Who we are
BuildPilot (buildpilot.world) is a product operated by Serving India. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
2. Information we collect
- Account information: your name, email address, phone number, and country, provided when you register.
- Content you create: the ideas, project details, and messages you enter while using BuildPilot.
- Usage information: basic technical and usage data needed to operate the service, such as activity within your account.
- Payment information: processed directly by our payment provider, Paddle. We do not collect or store your full card details.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to provide and operate BuildPilot, to generate the guidance you request, to manage your account and subscription, to provide customer support, to keep the service secure, and to meet our legal obligations.
4. Artificial intelligence processing
To generate guidance, the content you enter is sent to our third-party AI provider (Google) for processing and returning a response. We send only what is needed to produce your result.
5. Service providers we use
We rely on trusted third parties to run BuildPilot. These currently include:
- Supabase, for application hosting, database, and authentication
- Google, for AI processing
- Paddle, for payment processing and Merchant of Record
- Zoho Mail, for email correspondence
These providers process your information only as needed to provide their service to us.
6. International transfers
BuildPilot serves customers globally, and the providers above may process data in different countries. Where information is transferred across borders, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled with appropriate protection.
7. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. When it is no longer needed, we take steps to delete or anonymise it.
8. Your rights
You may request to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or ask us questions about how it is handled. To make a request, email support@buildpilot.world and we will respond within a reasonable time.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep your data safe.
10. Children
Accounts on BuildPilot are intended for adults. A person under 18 may use BuildPilot only through an account owned and supervised by a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children without the involvement of a supervising parent or guardian. If you believe a child has provided information to us outside this arrangement, please contact us at support@buildpilot.world and we will take appropriate steps.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page.
